Angkor Temples

The most famous of the ruins, Angkor Wat is probably the biggest religious temple ever built; the complex covers an area larger than Imperial Palace in Beijing.

Taking 30 years to build, the center tower stands a whopping 180 feet (55 meters) tall. That's a 15 story-sized building. Those Cambodians sure know how to stack rocks.

Requiring the services of 97,840 people in addition to 444 chefs, 4,606 footmen, and 2,298 servants, Preah Khan was definitely in the "bitchin" category.
