The inside of most of the gompas are covered in intricate paintings, in this case, hundreds and hundreds of little buddhas.

The lama-in-training on the lower right is practicing his prayers, while the one on the wall threatens me with a rock. However, since he didn't throw it, he can't grace the pages of Monks Gone Bad.

Statues and paintings of Buddha each have a particular "pose," which symbolizes different meanings. This, however, would be the first Buddha I've ever seen posing with a sword!
