Although not as impressive as the large city mosques, the structures in the smaller northern towns were almost always colorful and, well, almost cute. Perhaps it would be annoying after a few years, but while you're staying in these small towns, you're always awoken in the morning by the prayers from the mosques ringing up and down the valleys. |

This one rocked. The entire outside surface, the towers, and most of the inside are entirely covered with colorful mosaic tile work. |
