SPDC Burning Hway Kalok

Sections of the camp were burned three times: the market was burned in 1996, half the camp was burned in 1997, and this picture shows the destruction of all but one monestery in 1998.

Murdered Woman

This pregnant woman was killed and burned during the raid.

All told, four people were killed in the final burning: the 34 year old woman shown, two sisters ages 15 and 18, and a 7 year old boy. In addition, fifty people were slightly injured and twenty were seriously injured.
